What is the Nile

The Nile is the longest river in the world (4160 mi. long) in other words the length on the United States. It rises near the Equator and flows to the Mediterranean Sea. If the Nile didn't exist there would be no reason to go visit Egypt, I mean who wants to see a barren desert land. Two rivers join to make the Nile, the White Nile and the Blue Nile. Though i would appreciate the Blue Nile more because 70% of the Nile's water comes from the Blue Nile.

  1. Wow! There's a Blue Nile AND a White Nile?? That's really interesting!! But why does most of the water come from the Blue Nile and not the White Nile??
